WASTEWATER TREATMENT AUTOMATION

A Supervision and Control System was implemented for Sabesp ETE Barueri Wastewater Treatment Plant during the increase in sewage treatment capacity to 12.5 cubic meter per second.

Redundant SCADA software, Oracle database and GE Fanuc programmable logic controllers (PLC) were installed and interconnected in a fiber optic fieldbus with an Ethernet TCP/IP protocol.

The communication between the PLCs and the field equipment (Electricity meter, frequency inverters, polymer preparation skid, gas system) was implemented in a communication network using an EIA485 serial port with Modbus RTU protocol.
